The C-TEC SigTEL Type A fire telephone outstation is the standard handset unit used on UK disabled refuge and fire telephone systems that follow BS 5839-9. Installers fit these Type A stations at refuge points so people who need assistance can speak directly to the fire control room or master controller during an evacuation.
Trade prices start at £162.85 for the EVC301RPO push-to-open version. The lift-key lock model EVC301RLK is also available. Those figures are the amounts you pay on the shop — we are not VAT registered, so no extra tax is added at checkout.
Key points for UK trade use:
- BS 5839-9 Type A fire telephone outstation
- Compatible with C-TEC SigTEL master controllers and multi-line systems
- Red steel finish matching typical refuge signage
- Push-to-open or lift-key lock options to suit site security requirements
- Designed for continuous monitoring on the SigTEL network
Type A stations are required in many multi-storey residential, commercial and public buildings where disabled refuge areas are provided. Having the correct outstation on the shelf speeds up both new installs and replacements when an existing unit is damaged or needs upgrading.
