Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of the iComply Supplys online store and purchases from iComply Property Services ("we", "us", "our"), 17 Woodlands Park Road, Offerton, Stockport SK2 5DE. Tel: 07517 806082. Email: icomplypropertyservices@gmail.com.
By placing an order or creating an account you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy, Shipping and Returns policies.
1. Who we sell to
We supply fire detection equipment, emergency lighting products, electrical trade goods and related accessories to both trade (B2B) and retail (B2C) customers in the United Kingdom. Some products are intended for installation by competent persons in accordance with applicable British Standards (including BS 5839 series for fire detection and BS 5266 for emergency lighting where relevant).
2. Accounts & trade terms
- You must provide accurate company and contact information.
- Trade accounts are subject to approval. We may request company details, VAT number and trade references.
- Unless credit terms are expressly agreed in writing, payment is due at checkout or on pro-forma invoice before despatch.
- Where credit is granted, payment is due within the stated period (e.g. 30 days from invoice). We may suspend supply or charge interest on overdue sums at the statutory rate.
- Trade prices, discounts and free-carriage thresholds are discretionary and may change without notice except for accepted orders.
3. Orders & contract formation
Product listings are invitations to treat. A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation or despatch the goods (whichever occurs first). We may cancel or refuse orders for pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or where supply would breach law or manufacturer restrictions.
4. Pricing & VAT
Prices are in GBP. VAT is applied at the prevailing UK rate unless a valid zero/exempt treatment applies. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors. Shipping costs are shown at checkout or on quotation.
5. Product information & suitability
Descriptions, images and specifications are provided in good faith from manufacturer data. It is the buyer’s responsibility to select products suitable for the application, design and applicable standards. We can provide trade guidance but do not replace a competent fire system designer, installer or responsible person under fire safety law. Installation, commissioning and certification are separate services and only included when expressly purchased or contracted.
6. Delivery
Delivery is primarily to UK mainland addresses as set out in our Shipping Policy. Dates are estimates. Title to goods passes on full payment; risk passes on delivery to the carrier or to you, as applicable under the chosen shipping method and UK law.
7. Returns
Returns of unused goods within 14 days and handling of faulty goods are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy and your statutory rights.
8. Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply to branded equipment subject to correct storage, installation and use. Our liability for defective goods supplied to consumers is as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For business customers, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will at our option repair, replace or refund defective goods notified within a reasonable time, and exclude other warranties implied by statute.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, business interruption, loss of data, or indirect/consequential loss. For business customers our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for the goods giving rise to the claim.
10. Intellectual property
Website content, branding and materials remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
11. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content in bulk, or place orders with false details.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence if you are a consumer.
