The Hochiki ALN-EN is a popular ESP optical smoke sensor used on addressable fire systems across the UK. It is LPCB approved to EN54-7 and works with C-TEC XFP panels such as the XFP501E/H, XFP501/H and XFP502/H.

Key features include a high-performance optical chamber that can be removed for cleaning, twin LEDs giving 360° visibility (green for poll, red for fire), and a compact 100 mm diameter by 45 mm body weighing only 95 g. Addressing is done with the TCH-B200 tool. Compatible bases are the YBN-R/3 (ivory) or YBN-R/3(WHT) white version.
Ivory (ALN-EN) and white (ALN-EN(WHT)) versions are both stocked at the same price. The sensor is not the marine ALN-ENM, UL ALN-V or SIL version — just the standard UK ESP optical model.
