Current VAT status (important)

We are not currently VAT-registered. That means:

We do not charge VAT on orders.
The price you see on the product page is the final price you pay (plus delivery, if any) — no VAT is added at checkout.
Invoices and order emails will not show a separate VAT amount or VAT registration number.

How our catalogue prices work

Product prices are set as a single all-in price (the amount the customer pays). Shopify is configured so that when we later become VAT-registered, we can switch tax on without a surprise jump at checkout if we keep prices tax-inclusive.

Today: no VAT charged · listed price = total goods price.
After VAT registration (planned): we will enable UK VAT at 20%. If we keep “prices include tax”, your all-in price can stay the same and VAT becomes an accounting line on the invoice. If we switch to tax-exclusive display, VAT would be added at checkout — we will announce any change clearly on this page before it happens.

When we become VAT-registered

We will update this page with our VAT number and change store tax settings. Until then, ignore any older wording that referred to charging 20% VAT at checkout.
